Good news, everyone! No, Flying High has not come out earlier than expected. Buuuut… after unfortunately having to be put on hold seemingly indefinitely due to the pandemic and other life circumstances, book two of The Loft, Strictly Business, is now officially in audio!
And for those of you who prefer to get your audiobooks via iTunes, don’t worry, it’ll be there soon!
I do fee a bit odd announcing this now when the release of book two of another series of mine that had to be postponed is finally just days away, but publishing through ACX/Audible can be wildly unpredictable in terms of exactly when your audiobook will go live, and I was so happy to finally have it finished that I couldn’t wait to share it with all of you.
To those of you who’ve been waiting on pins and needles for this to come out in audio, thanks so much for sticking it out. I know I’m developing a habit of ending first books in a series on cliffhangers, but I felt really bad about not being able to have this book out sooner for my lovey audio listeners to resolve the ending of Whip Smart. I’d been hoping to have it out soon after the first one initially, but sadly life gets in the way, ACX takes an eternity to review and approve the book, and in the year 2020, uncertainty is the new norm. So, in light of that, I just wanted to give you all a heads up that while the looooong awaited third book of The Loft series, Tangled Love, will finally be out in just under a month, I’m unfortunately not sure when that book will be available in audio. I’m hoping it’ll be out by the end of this year, but in any case, I hope you understand, and that this will tide you over for now.
I really hope you enjoy this one. It’s personally my favorite out of the two books of The Loft that have come out so far (boy, did my writing vastly improve between Whip Smart and Strictly Business…) and I think the pacing is a lot better if the first book moved a little slow for you. Also, there’s some serious steam in this one that I guarantee will have you fanning yourself! Meg and Everett have once again knocked it out of the park, and I can’t wait for you to hear them bring Tera and Eric to life. Seriously, guys, these two have the characters’ chemistry nailed, and it only gets better in this one.
