Hey there, book nerds! Whew, it’s been a pretty thrilling/nervewracking week after finally releasing Strictly Business. I hope those of you who were eagerly anticipating how Tera and Eric’s continuing story would play out are enjoying reading it unfold just as much as I enjoyed writing it. Just a heads up, if you haven’t gotten your copy yet, there’s still time to get both it and Whip Smart on sale for only $0.99 on Amazon. And for those of you who tore through it and are already wondering where Tera and Eric’s story goes from here, I can confirm that Tangled Love is still on track to be released by the end of September. So, yay!
Hi, book nerds! Sorry that it’s been so long since you’ve heard from me. I feel bad about being away for so long, I haven’t even tweeted in forever. Unfortunately, things have still been a bit rough in my personal life over the past few months, not to mention the mild resurgence of depression and anxiety that I’ve been dealing with. There were times when I almost felt like giving up entirely, thinking that my Strictly Business rewrites would never get done. Eventually I had to put it down for a while to try and focus on my mental health, but I started brainstorming an idea I’d been casually working on for a while. It ended up being a good thing for me, helping me to clear my head and regain my confidence, as well as get a big head-start on my next book.
Thankfully, I’ve been doing a lot better recently, and I’m excited to say that Strictly Business is in its final editing stages and will be coming out on March 31st. For anyone who’s subscribed to my mailing list, ARC copies should be going out about a week before then. It’s been a long time coming and involved a lot of blood, sweat, and tears, but I’m hoping it’ll all be worth it in the end. I just wanted to thank all of you who have patiently waited through all these months and through all these frustrating updates.
But wait, there’s more! The book I started on while taking my break from Strictly Business, is also currently being edited, with a planned release date of April 14th. So stay tuned for updates on High Risk, book one of the Risky Business Duet.
Caleb Martin. Lost prince of business royalty. The young airline mogul with a reputation for dominance in both the boardroom and the bedroom. But before he was worth billions, he was my first love, and my brother’s best friend. We were supposed to grow old together… until a tragedy ripped us apart.
After six years I thought I’d finally moved on, but fate throws us together again. I try to tell myself he’s just another client, futilely resisting the temptation to mix business with pleasure. But there’s more than just our shared pain keeping us apart. Giving in to temptation could destroy everything we’ve both built in the last six years… but is Caleb worth the risk?
I’m pretty excited for this one, and was surprised by just how much fun it was to write it. I stepped out of my comfort zone a bit: a billionaire, brother’s best friend second chance romance set in New York, and with just a hint of suspense. It loosely ties into The Loft series, but can be read on its own. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks!
Happy New Year, book nerds! With 2017 circling the drain, let’s all hope that 2018 will be a year with many good things to come. But while it’s hard to deny that 2017 was a year of a lot of bad news (to put it mildly), I find it healthy to remember the good things that came out of it. I survived a semester of grad school, moved in with the Boyfriend and celebrated four years together with him, and, of course, became a published author.
Speaking of, I’m sure that all of you are still wondering where Strictly Business is. I feel like I should explain. When I published Whip Smart at the end of October, there were a lot of personal matter in my life–which have only just now begun to settle down–which prevented me from publishing it when I had originally planned. I was disappointed with the rocky start to my romance writing career and was determined to get the sequel out there as soon as possible. And as a result, I feel that I rushed it. When I canceled the pre-order a little over a week ago to fix a mistake in the manuscript, I read through it again to make sure I hadn’t missed any other mistakes, and couldn’t help but think of the things I’d scrapped or changed to make sure Strictly Business was published “on time”, as well as a few new and pretty damn good ideas that had come to me after I’d already started the publishing process on Amazon. Hello again, everyone. Unfortunately, I’m writing this emergency post to share some bad news: due to unexpected technical difficulties, I’ve had to cancel the pre-order for Strictly Business for Dec. 27th. Long story short, I belatedly noticed a rather serious error with the “final” draft I’d uploaded to Amazon, and unfortunately wouldn’t have been able to upload the correct final draft before the deadline for the pre-order. All I can do is apologize to those of you who did pre-order the book and were looking forward to its release on the 27th. However, I will say that the book should be live on Amazon by Dec. 30th, and that both it and Whip Smart will be available for $0.99 for the first week of its release. Also, anyone currently subscribed to my mailing list will receive a free review copy of Strictly Business before release day.
Thank you so much again to all of you who have stuck by me and patiently waited for this next book. I know I’ve put you through the wringer, but I can’t tell you how grateful I am to all of you. Things have been tough for me in both my personal and writing life these past few months, but so far things are looking up for next year, and I look forward to continuing to share my writing and publishing adventures with you guys in 2018. Until then, Merry Christmas and happy reading!
Hello again, fellow book nerds! Siena here again with some more news regarding my fast-approaching release of Strictly Business, the continuation of Eric and Tera’s story that began in Whip Smart. Unfortunately, due to some unexpected family-related setbacks once again, the release date has to be pushed back until the 26th. However, it will be available for pre-order on Amazon starting tomorrow- Dec. 22nd- for $0.99, and will be available at that price until the 27th. In addition, Whip Smart will be available for free between tomorrow and the 26th! Also also, if you haven’t yet already, there’s still time for you to sign up for my mailing list for your chance to receive a free ARC copy of Strictly Business before it goes live!
Sorry again for all the delays, but I promise you that it will be worth the wait. I’m very excited to share the continuing story of Tera and Eric with you. Happy Reading… 😉
Hello again, fellow book nerds! Sorry for the lack of updates, but between my day job, family obligations, and working on the sequel to Whip Smart, I’ve been keeping pretty busy. But I’m excited to announce that book two, Strictly Business, will be released in just over a week on Dec. 22!
Happy Halloween, everyone! I hope your week/weekend has been spooktacular. Unfortunately, my own plans ended up falling through and I didn’t end up having a good enough excuse to dress up in costume… although it is also the birthday of a certain special someone in my life… 😉 Continue reading
GUYS. I’ve done it. I’ve published a novel.
Yeah… I might still be in shock. Continue reading
Hello, fellow book nerds! If you’ve been following me on Twitter, then you know by now that I haven’t been able to shut up about my impending release date, which would have been today. Unfortunately, while I have been eagerly and nervously awaiting this day for months and months, some serious life circumstances have come up, and I will be pushing my release of Whip Smart to October 25, this coming week. I had originally thought that I could have it out there by tomorrow, but sadly that won’t be happening. I am very sad that I won’t be able to share the story that has been my passion for the last year with you just yet, but I hope you can understand that there are important things I need to take care of in my personal life that I must put before my book right now.
For those of you who’ve been following me and oh-so-patiently waiting, thank you so much for your support. I hope you’re all as excited to meet Tera and Eric as I am to share their story with you.
Thanks, and happy reading. 😉
