So, I Fell off the Face of the Earth, But I’m Back Now

Greetings once again, dearest readers. First off, I wanted to apologize for ghosting you all like that, particularly after I’d said about two weeks ago that High Risk would be available in a matter of days after it unfortunately had to be delayed again. I’m sure a few of you noticed my Twitter thread on the subject yesterday:

Sadly, things have been very hectic and stressful for me, starting around the time of the family death I mentioned a few weeks back and partially relating to that. I’m sorry that I can’t go into more detail, but I hope you can all understand my desire to keep a lot of things in my personal life separate from my author life. Emotionally, things are getting better after a lot of recent ups and downs; the loss of one of my close family members was definitely one of those low points but things are looking up. Unfortunately, that death happened to coincide with a lot of other things being dropped into my lap all at once, and yet again I found myself in the position of having to put off a book release to take care of other things.

I can’t express how guilty I feel and how sad and frustrated it makes me to have done this more than once at this point. But ultimately in most cases it felt like the best choice to put it off until I could devote the proper time and energy to that new release, and I do believe I made the right call this time. I am still confident that 2019 (or at least the latter half of it) will be “my year” as an author; the sequel to High Risk is still on track to come out in late July, book three of The Loft series will finally be out in August, and I have big plans for both book four and something new this fall.

As for High Risk itself, you can all breathe a huge sigh of relief along with me, because it’ll be here next week!

Oh! And before you go, be sure to check out the Frequently Asked Questions page I just added to the site. I’ll be updating it with more relevant info in the coming months as my next few books are released.

As always, thank you guys for continuing to support me. I mean that from the bottom of my heart. Stay classy, and happy reading. ūüėČ

High Risk Postponed Until June 7th

Hello, all. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but due to a death in the family, I’m postponing the release date until June 7th. I know May 24th was still a little ways off and there’s a chance I can have it ready for publication in time, but I made the tough call that it would be for the best to move the release date, so I could focus on family matters for the time being, as well as not force myself to rush things and mess something up with the release.

High Risk will still be available for pre-order until June 7th, and anyone who has already ordered the book will be getting it on that day. (Unfortunately, changing the date does mean that I won’t be able to set up any future books for pre-order on Amazon for another year.)

Thank you all for being so patient. Looking forward to bringing you all some happier news next time. I hope you understand if I’m a little quiet (well, quieter than I already am most days) on Twitter for the next week or so.

Get Ready! High Risk is (Finally) Almost Here!

Yes, at long last, I finally have a totally-official release date: May 24th. I’m very sorry for not having out this week as I had originally hoped; but although it did take a little longer than anticipated to get everything straightened out in terms of copyediting, formatting, and promotional stuff, but the stars did align and it would seem that 5-24-19 is the magic number.

I know that it still seems like a long way off, but there is some good news! High Risk is now available for pre-order on Amazon for just $0.99. So, just follow the link, and you can have the first book of the Risky Business Duet waiting for you on your Kindle at the stroke of midnight on May 24th.

Also, starting on release day, I’ll be doing a blog tour hosted by the lovely people over at InkslingerPR. I’ll be sure to post links to the tour stops during those two weeks so you won’t miss out on reviews, exclusive excerpts, guest posts, and a giveaway!

Thank you so much again to all of you, for waiting so patiently and sticking by me through all the ups and downs of my writing journey. I can’t make any promises for what the rest of 2019 will bring, but I can assure you that this will be the sexiest, sweetest, and most thrilling year yet. I can’t wait to share Kiera and Caleb’s story with all of you, and I’m excited to share everything else I have up my sleeve as well in the coming months. I hope you all fall in love with their story the way that I did while writing it.

Happy reading ūüėČ

Where in the World is Siena Noble? A Brief Update

Back from the dead, assholes!

All joking aside, I apologize once again for dropping off the face of the Earth for so long, especially since those of you who might’ve been looking forward to the release of High Risk are probably wondering where it is. I know that I’ve gone into detail before about why it’s taken me so long to finally put out a book that I’ve been promising for months and months, and to put it bluntly, a large part of why this release has taken me so long is that depression and anxiety have been kicking my ass especially hard in recent times. Trying to juggle a regular job, graduate school, family obligations, and other writing interests outside of romance with maintaining my romance pen name is a struggle that I often doubt I’ll ever fully get the hang of. And with my mental health being what it is, all of these factors have contributed to a number of dark moments when I simply wanted to give up, or when I found it so hard to bring myself to write even a few sentences in a day that I figured I’d never get this next book finished.

Merry (early) Christmas! Some Sweet Book Deals and News

Merry Almost Christmas, my lovely readers! I know, I know, you’re all still waiting for High¬†Risk¬†to finally come out. Unfortunately, the release date had to be pushed back until January 28th, after the insanity of the holiday season. (I’ve also updated my previous blog post to reflect this, because I’m just that pedantic.)

I know, I know. Believe me, the wait is killing me, too.

At Long Last, High Risk is Almost Here!

Long time no see, my lovelies! I ‘m very sorry for the unscheduled hiatus. For those of you who don’t know (which is probably most… I don’t think I’ve actually mentioned it in my blog before), I recently went back to grad school. Long story short, this past semester I went from being a part-time student to adding a few more courses onto my workload to hopefully earn my degree faster. It was a tough call, given both the handful of other issues I’ve been dealing with in my personal life in the past year or so, and how difficult it’s been to find the right balance between going to school and building my career as an author. But I’m hoping that in the end it’ll all work out for the best.¬†I want to thank you all for your patience, since I know this book and the next installment of The Loft have been a long time coming, and your continuing support during this difficult time in my life means a lot to me.

However, that does¬†not¬†mean that I’ve forgotten about my writing, far from it! While I was initially disappointed that I wasn’t able to meet my initial goal of having¬†High Risk¬†published in September, I am happy to announce that I now have an official release date:¬†January 28th!¬†

Here’s a Sneak Peek at High Risk! Plus, Some Other News

Hey there, book nerds! Whew, it’s been a pretty thrilling/nervewracking week after finally releasing¬†Strictly Business.¬†I hope those of you who were eagerly anticipating how Tera and Eric’s continuing story would play out are¬†enjoying reading it unfold just as much as I enjoyed writing it. Just a heads up, if you haven’t gotten your copy yet, there’s still time to get both it and¬†Whip Smart¬†on sale for only $0.99 on Amazon. And for those of you who tore through it and are already wondering where Tera and Eric’s story goes from here, I can confirm that¬†Tangled Love¬†is still on track to be released by the end of September. So, yay!

I’m Back! With Long-Awaited Strictly Business News

Hi, book nerds! Sorry that it’s been so long since you’ve heard from me. I feel bad about being away for so long, I haven’t even tweeted in forever. Unfortunately, things have still been a bit rough in my personal life over the past few months, not to mention the mild resurgence of depression and anxiety that I’ve been dealing with. There were times when I almost felt like giving up entirely, thinking that my¬†Strictly Business¬†rewrites would never get done. Eventually I had to put it down for a while to try and focus on my mental health, but I started brainstorming an idea I’d been casually working on for a while. It ended up being a good thing for me, helping me to clear my head and regain my confidence, as well as get a big head-start on my next book.

Thankfully, I’ve been doing a lot better recently, and I’m excited to say that¬†Strictly Business¬†is in its final editing stages and will be coming out on¬†March 31st.¬†¬†For anyone¬†who’s subscribed to my mailing list, ARC copies should be going out about a week before then.¬†It’s been a long time coming and involved a lot of blood, sweat, and tears, but I’m hoping it’ll all be worth it in the end. I just wanted to thank all of you who have patiently waited through all these months and through all these frustrating updates.

But wait, there’s more! The book I started on while taking my break from¬†Strictly Business, is also currently being edited, with a planned release date of¬†April 14th.¬†So stay tuned for updates on¬†High Risk, book one of the¬†Risky Business¬†Duet.

Caleb Martin. Lost prince of business royalty. The young airline mogul with a reputation for dominance in both the boardroom and the bedroom. But before he was worth billions, he was my first love, and my brother’s best friend. We were supposed to grow old together… until a tragedy ripped us apart.

After six years I thought I’d finally moved on, but fate throws us together again. I try to tell myself he’s just another client, futilely resisting the temptation to mix business with pleasure. But there’s more than just our shared pain keeping us apart. Giving in to temptation could destroy everything we’ve both built in the last six years… but is Caleb worth the risk?

I’m pretty excited for this one, and was surprised by just how much fun it was to write it. I stepped out of my comfort zone a bit: a billionaire, brother’s best friend second chance romance set in New York, and with just a hint of suspense. It loosely ties into¬†The Loft¬†series, but can be read on its own. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks!

Happy New Year! Strictly Business Updates and Special New Year’s Super Post!

Happy New Year, book nerds! With 2017 circling the drain, let’s all hope that 2018 will be a year with many good things to come. But while it’s hard to deny that 2017 was a year of a lot of bad news (to put it mildly), I find it healthy to remember the good things that came out of it. I survived a semester of grad school, moved in with the Boyfriend and celebrated four years together with him, and, of course, became a published author.

Speaking of, I’m sure that all of you are still wondering where¬†Strictly Business¬†is. I feel like I should explain. When I published¬†Whip Smart¬†at the end of October, there were a lot of personal matter in my life–which have only just now begun to settle down–which prevented me from publishing it when I had originally planned. I was disappointed with the rocky start to my romance writing career and was determined to get the sequel out there as soon as possible. And as a result, I feel that I rushed it. When I canceled the pre-order a little over a week ago to fix a mistake in the manuscript, I read through it again to make sure I hadn’t missed any other mistakes, and couldn’t help but think of the things I’d scrapped or changed to make sure¬†Strictly Business¬†was published “on time”, as well as a few new and pretty damn good ideas that had come to me after I’d already started the publishing process on Amazon.
